A book showcasing art from the Spiral of Honesty Project.
The website describes the project and displays the contributions.
I see the project itself as a communal artwork — a joyous collaboration between nature and people!
Hardback, 50 pages, 28x28cm, 11x11".

Each book costs £18.32 to produce, I personally don't make anything from sales of the book - it's other people's work after all. I have added £1 on to the price which will be a donation to The World Land Trust. Anything added at checkout in 'tip' will also go to The World Land Trust - protecting threatened habitats and endangered species.

The Spiral of Honesty project arose from an artwork I created using the beautiful, translucent seedpods of the plant Honesty (Lunaria annua). I photographed the rising sun shining through the seedpods, which I had arranged in a spiral and stuck onto glass.
I invited people to collaborate by creating their own responses to the Spiral of Honesty — whether inspired by the photograph, spirals, honesty itself, or anything else that sparked their creativity.
A website was created to display the contributions — www.spiralofhonesty.org — and an exhibition was held at Parbold Library in Lancashire during February 2025. Children from a local primary school visited the exhibition and created their own pieces in response.
